Background

Since graduating in 2003 with a first class BA (Hons) Fine Art Degree, I have successfully built my exhibition portfolio at events in London such as freshart (London Design Centre) and On the Wall (Olympia), the Affordable Art Fairs in both London and Bristol, The Chelsea Art Fair, The Gallery in Cork Street and local galleries in and around my home county of Buckinghamshire.   In 2006/2007 my work was exhibited at Christies in London and more recently in Islington and Windsor.  In 2008 I will be exhibiting at a number of different fairs, exhibitions and public venues and events both in London and locally.

Inspiration

My paintings are inspired by places, events, and people.  Much of my larger work begins life from sketches drawn in new environments, so travel provides an important stimulation for fresh work.  The sea has always been an important element in my life, and this and the stunning landscapes - particularly of Cornwall in England, and Europe and Australia abroad – provide a springboard for composition and colour inspiration. 

Work Ethic

Most of my work is painted on canvas using acrylics and other mixed media and finished to the highest quality.   My professional working space is in Bourne End, and visitors are welcome to visit by appointment between exhibitions.
